Certainty and Confusion...
Something holds
back.
A tiny pull
from behind.
Weak, loose
thread somewhere down the line,
A forced
laugh at the silly concern ;
Shake your
head and move on.
Yet..the
touch stays; Why?
A li’l
finger brushes aside,
An accidental
collision, a heart’s ride,
Dilated pupils,
a tremendous tide.
Waves breach,
sometimes small, some big
Mouth keeps mum,
a welcome hand follows every gig.
Do you really question the obvious?
It’s the silent
poem, so keen to ear,
Loudly visible
yet the words fear
A careful
dance yet hands clasped tight
An open
declaration when judgements fight
The effort
to look up, yet tears block the sight.
A lyrical
music, an unknown, serene torture
Clarity loses;
musical flotsam seems so far
Certainty and
confusion, torn inside
A long deep
breath, heart trembles to confide
When then
your confidence stirs?
You question
the obvious when telling matters!
Your vulnerability
shows, the smile cries;
Delusion fills
disgust in blind eyes!
Comfort seeks,
seeks the knowing smile ,
Warmth seeks,
devoid of all guile,
Yet…everything
goes bleak!
Maybe its
right, maybe its just,
Certainty and
confusion stands with age-old rust.
Tiny fairy tale
fades with few dark shades
A tingling
impasse, yet, the touch stays.
For a hopeful tomorrow, maybe, a short-sweet
essay.
